FCQ Retreat 2008 at Blackstone, VA

New location - same good time!

The FCQ retreat has changed its location to Blackstone, VA. (65 miles from Mechanicsville,  so you have an idea of the distance)

The dates are May 8, 9, 10,11, & Oct. 30, 31, Nov 1, 2, 2008

• Cost for 2 nights (Fri & Sat) & 3 days $135

• Cost for 3 nights (Thu, Fri, Sat) & 4 days $199

• Same rules apply…. arrive after 9 am on Thu or Fri.

• Leave by 4Pm on Sunday

• Meals are the same….first meal is lunch on the day of arrival and last meal is Sunday breakfast

• There will be 2 people per room for sleeping, twin beds with private baths

• The building has an elevator, as it is 4 stories tall

• The 30 Sewing spaces are in 1 BIG room

• We will have Needle & Thread as our vendor

• I have 13 spaces left so get your $50 deposit in ASAP to hold your spot

• Balance will be due by Feb. 1, 2008

Directions from 360 in Richmond

• VUMAC… 700 Fourth Street, Blackstone VA

• Take 360 West ( Hull Street)

• Enter Amelia and look for Countryside Veterinarian Office (on left)

• Turn left at Route 153

• Stay on Route 153 until you come to stop sign at Route 460

• Take Route 460 West, right turn

• Stay on 460 West until you see the first Blackstone exit billboard

• Take immediate left at Route 40

• When you enter the town limits you will be on Main Street

• Go through 5 stop lights

• After 5th stop light, take the first right on to 4th Street

• There will be a sign for VUMAC We are located on Fourth and College

• Follow street around building and enter main parking lot on side of building
